- Capitol Gray Type I Portland Cement is a general-purpose hydraulic cement that meets ASTM C150 requirements. It can be mixed with hydrated lime and masonry sand to produce mortar for brick, block, chimneys, stucco, interior and exterior walls, retaining walls, garden beds, porches, patios, and outdoor living areas. It can also be used to produce concrete when mixed with sand and coarse aggregate.

Installation Method

Suggested Proportions (Mortar Mix):
3 parts masonry sand
1 part Portland cement
¼ part hydrated lime
Add water and mix to achieve a workable consistency. Adjust proportions as needed based on application.
